SUNSET U-PICK
The Sunset U-pick and adjacent Ferris Street Forest and Wetland Nature Preserve can be entered at 49 Ferris Street or off the Northside Trail. During growing and picking seasons, parking is only available on the street or in a small area along the dirt entry road.
Habitats in this location vary from fields of strawberries, raspberry bushes, and high-bush blueberries, to white pine forest, mixed woodland, wetlands, and Regiment Creek.
Along the trails through these 16 hectares, you may encounter a good variety of warblers and thrushes as well as a scattering of other songbirds.
