KILLARNEY LAKE PARK

Fredericton’s largest park at 645 hectares offers many ways to enjoy nature. Extensive hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails for the energetic - and a sandy beach alongside the lake for swimmers and sunbathers - will be supplemented according to the Management Plan.

Both the beach at 1653 St. Mary’s Street and the Rotary Lodge at #1600 have large parking lots and restroom facilities.

Well-marked and wide, the trails lead birders around the lake and through mature woods where warblers and woodpeckers have been seen and undoubtedly many other species occur, presenting the challenge of being discovered.
